Multi-disciplinary construction group Liviero is continuing to build up its expansive track record in the commercial and retail sector, with the award of a new R162-million contract to build a shopping mall in Mtubatuba, KwaZulu-Natal, as well as contracts totalling more than R264 million for the construction of two new office developments in Gauteng.
The firm will complete the new 17 200m2 Mtuba Mall in the first quarter of 2014, reports CEO Neil Cloete.
The construction of a new office and warehouse facility for client Razomark, in Linbro Park, Johannesburg, is underway and due for completion in December 2014.
In Springs, Gauteng, Liviero is building a new office block for Liebherr-Africa, and this fast-track project is due for completion early in 2014, Cloete states.
These projects follow on the back of Liviero’s contracts to build the new, high profile KwaMnyandu Shopping Centre in Umlazi, Durban, and new retail centres in Newcastle and Ladysmith in Northern KwaZulu-Natal.
